Q:
Why do you not list prices
on your web site?
A: Every web site is different so it's virtually impossible to know
how much your site will cost until we've got some idea of what you
want. We know there are companies who offer a standard price
for packages, but what happens if your requirements don't really fit
into those packages?
Q:
I have already registered
my domain name, is that a problem?
A: Not at all. We can still set up your web
site. The domain always remains your property whoever actually
registers it. You can either transfer the domain to us or change
the nameservers that the domain is using if you prefer to keep
complete control.
Q:
I have already arranged hosting, is that a problem?
A: In order to be sure of being able to offer you the
benefit of all the services we provide, we prefer to host the site
for you. We provide secure reliable servers that are situated
in several different data centres and we protect the servers with
some of the best spam and virus protection software available.
We cannot guarantee other hosts will be able to offer the same
protection or offer the same services as part of their hosting
packages. If you have arranged hosting already though, that
should not be a problem.
Q: Do I have to do all updates myself?
A: Not necessarily. AIP Instant Updater is there to
make things easier for our customers who wish to look after the
content of their site themselves. However we appreciate that
some business owners are very busy and simply don't have the time to
do it themselves all the time, if at all. If you would like us
to take care of all updates and changes, that is no problem.
Q: What if I want more pages?
A: No problem. Many sites get bigger over time.
Q: How long does it take to set a site up?
A: This very much depends on the site. A small site
that is mainly text and template based will take
only a few days. If more pages are needed or more work
is needed on the design, then it takes longer. We normally say
7 - 10 days minimum to get everything right.
Q:
Why should I pay for someone else to design and look
after my web site?
A: Your web site represents your business to
absolutely anyone who comes across it - therefore it needs to look
professional and be built in a professional way.
Website technology is advancing all the time so if you outsource your site to someone who is able to keep up with that technology and the latest techniques, you can be sure that your site is in the hands of someone who is able to keep up with that technology and let you know of the latest ways you can help ensure your website gets noticed.
Paying a professional ensures that your web site looks right for your business. A professional will know how to give your site as good a chance as possible of getting listed on the search engines and if you are a one-person business, the chances are that you simply haven't got the time to keep it updated yourself and keep up with the latest web design techniques.
